General Skilled Migration is divided into three categories, the Employer-Nominated Scheme (ENS), the Regional Sponsored Migration Scheme (RSMS) and Temporary Business (subclass 475)

It is possible to apply for Employer-Sponsored migration up until the age of 55, so this visa class may be an option for people who do not qualify under skilled migration because of their age.

Employer-Nominated Scheme (ENS)

The Employer-Nominated Scheme is a permanent visa, and the applicant must work the sponsoring employer for three years. The applicant's spouse and children are also granted permanent residency and unrestricted working rights.
