Partner Visa
Partner migration to New Zealand may be an option for anyone who is married or in a committed relationship with a New Zealand citizen or permanent resident.
To Qualify for Partner migration to New Zealand, you must:
- be over 18 years of age
- have been in committed and genuine relationship for at least 12 months with a New Zealand citizen or permanent resident.
- be looking to live in New Zealand with your partner
A 'partner' for the purposes of a spouse visa can mean either a legally married partner (of the opposite or same sex) or a de-facto 'common law' partner (either of the opposite or same sex).
