Queensland review the Sponsor Lists once again
The Queensland Government have made changes that relate to their Skilled Migration Skills Lists and their nomination requirements.
As of Tuesday 7 July 2009 Queensland will only consider applications based on the new lists and requirements, which are now available to view via the QLD Government website. All Sponsorship applications lodged by close of business on Tuesday 7 July 2009 or before will still be considered based on the previous lists and requirements.
Significant changes to the Queensland Government website include:
- A revised Skilled Sponsored (Migrant) Visa (Subclass 176) Eligible Skills List
- A revised Skilled Regional Sponsored (Provisional) Visa (Subclasses 475 and 487) Eligible Skills List
- A new Skilled Sponsored (Residence) Visa (Subclass 886) Eligible Skills List
- New International English Language Test Score requirements for each occupation
- New work-experience requirements for most occupations
- New application forms.
